Safety is the Priority

Maintaining a safe learning environment for students, staff, and visitors is a primary goal of the Evangeline Parish School District. Our school system relies on the support of parents and community members to help maintain safe, orderly schools.

The district works in partnership with law enforcement, parish government, emergency responders, and emergency preparedness officials to coordinate emergency response plans in order to ensure everyone acts swiftly and effectively in emergency situations, whether it be, responding to school safety threats, early dismissal due to inclement weather, or conducting drills to ensure preparedness in the event of any crisis.

Vector Alert, formerly Safe Schools Alert, is the district’s tip reporting service. If you have information about a threat to school safety, do your part and report it to school administration.  The system allows you to report any potential threat to school safety anonymously using four different methods:
